today is a sad day. Our beloved Montgomery Scott, Chief Engineer of Enterprise (serial number 1701), passed on. He was 85. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Thats so sad... James Doohan was amazing, and he played alot of voices too. He also appeared in TNG, and his last appearance was in Star Trek Generations.

He was truely an inspiration, hes the reason I became an engineer!
