aray koi masla nahi hai. idhar rss main bhi theek hai…bas rss koi khaas visit nahi karta. normal bollywood section mein zaida atey hain loag.
Stanley ka Dabba
a simple yet fabulous movie - highly recommended. It took me back to my own junior school days - the bonds between friends over lunch boxes, brutality of some teachers versus the sweetness of others, kids recess antics and all.
Great performances by all:k: - the movie may seem stretched at times but keeps you hooked. Give it a try if you’re into parallel cinema.

Stanley Ka Dabba is a well-intentioned film which unravels a moving story. It is one of the finest films to watch as it sets you on an emotional journey. A total Thumbs Up! Simple, honest and sensitive are the three key words to describe the film Stanley Ka Dabba. It will take you back to your school days and you will start feeling as a 9-year-old kid. The film just limited to the classroom manages to move you emotionally and mentally. Especially the climax of the film is a heart-warming experience. This movie is a cinematic gem.

Beyond the obvious, the movie has a lot of symbolism. This isn’t a masala movie, and viewers shouldn't try to think of what’s being shown, rather what’s being expressed... the metaphor, the suggestion and the “endowed” meaning - rather than the “real” meaning. A treat for parallel cinema enthusiasts!
I want to write more about the movie but don't want to spoil it... will wait a few weeks before giving a full review.

Stanley Ka Dabba is a wicked and poignant journey into the heart and soul of a child. At once clever and artless it effortlessly takes cinema about child psychology out of the box. The tiffin box. Before watching him it was impossible to believe a child could bring so much understated emotion into his character. Now after watching Partho it would be very difficult to watch other child actors attempt a similar threshold of emotive expression.
