There was a member who posted in the Religion forum that he is a jinn catcher. He performs ruqyah, which is healing for spiritual maladies through Quran, Allah’s names, and according to hadith/shariah. What is so funny about that? Are we amused by the job itself or the existence of magic and jinns which is mentioned by a much higher authority, Allah Himself…?

Shortly after this member posted in the Religion forum, OP decides to use “jinn catcher” in the title of his thread which has been created for entertainment purposes and carries an undertone of mocking/derision. Imagine that member coming upon this title and thread (if he hasn’t already)…and that too…soon after his own posts. It’s rude and offensive. One has the right to reject a person due to their profession if it makes them uncomfortable. But it’s not right to mock…and there’s something very wrong…about mocking someone who uses Allah’s kalaam in his profession.

Scripture is the most respected thing there is but many of the scum of the earth and low lives use it to deceive and defraud people, I remember about a Roohani Baba arrested for raping several young girls, They prey on the feeble minded, I don’t remember reading about exorcisms performed by the Prophet(SWA). It is considered a BID’AH by many Muslims,
