Just read that Stan Lee (of Spider man fame) has left Marvel & joined DC.
DC’s given him the green light to re-create some of DC’s most popular comic heroes
Apperenatly, he’s already started a new superman & wonder woman comic.

it was bound to happen with all the legal and financial problems that marvel was having.
However, I always felt that marvel characters were better overall. Dc did have batman and superman which are major heavies in the comic characters area. Even though they had to pull stunts like killing off superman in early 90's to generate interest and then brought him back.
Marvel characters overall are much superior as far as overall character development. If you start naming some of the majoe players..
spiderman, the hulk, fantastic four, avengers, x-men, silver surfer, defenders, daredevil and characters like galactus, Apocalypse...
Marvel has failed miserably in getting good movies made, partially due to thelegal issues and prtially due to the lack of leadership.
I hope that the X-men movie coming out on July 4th will change that for marvel because I want to see marvel movies.
Stan will be missed at marevl, but numerous others had already taken over more of the creative work, character development and stories. It may even be good for marvel overall.
Fraudz,
I've was never really an x-men fan - but I am looking forward to the movie.
My favorite comic book was always Spiderman - Marvel did a good job on the various Spiderman cartoons - it's just too bad the planned James Cameron film never took off.
I read that DC is already planning new movies based on the changes Stan Lee makes to the characters - looking forward to them!
