Two guppans are stalking me. They respond to all my posts and harass me for pictures in private.
I want them banned.

Also, to quote someone :p…a response given rather quickly is usually a lie…the ones that come a bit later are more truthful.

Pfft cupcake. Those caveats were not placed when the original theory was discussed. And more so the quick response only applies in real life. As you have to wait 30 seconds to post on GS :D

And the “quick response” rule applies everywhere…real life…GS…under water…on Mars. So since one has no choice but to wait 30 minutes to post on GS…the post made after that duration of time…is considered “quick response” in my book…and therefore is considered less than truthful.

i think without cm’s posts n threads half of this forum wud be dead .. I mean who else has ideas, opinions and threads that r crazy and at times truthful , which may hurt some but who cares, coming out of cm left right centre .. U hav my vote if itsof any use

I have no issues with the measurements. Its when they start bad mouthing their husbands that i get annoyed. Dude I am not your freaking counselor. Go bother a guppan like RV or Sahar02 for that stuff. And I was referring to Aunty Maroush....not you. Khush fehmi indeed :p
Must we do this again. Very well. Anybody who posts on a website such as GS has a need for others to validate their behaviour. More so if they seek to establish relationships over the virtual format, it merely adds to this need to be validated as they can not achieve it in real life. Anybody who gives this website any form of importance is simply ensuring that the validation they receive continues.
This is a website. It has no value whatsoever. Any attempt to establish real relationships on this website is merely a form of ego boosting.

On your comment about validation - it may have an element of truth about individuals wanting to be heard and agreed with - that's natural. But, it's kind of presumptuous to say that it flows over to their off-line real world lives.

If you are heard as an individual in real life why bother with the internet to establish any form of discussion or any form of value at all?
To those of you to whom the below example applies, I apologize. But this is something I find to be an increasing trend on GS and in the internet over all.
How many of you spend say more than an hour or two once you are home from work on the GS? Why? There is so much other stuff to do. Read books. Watch TV. Go out with friends. Socialize. Take up a hobby. But no most spend it on line with their "friends". We establish real life relationships via the internet which in reality have no value. Why because you will never meet that person but for some reason they are close to you.
A person with a healthy life, with friends, a social network that is deemed normal does not need the internet to validate ones self. Before people start saying that i am the same. I will agree I am the same. I do not live a normal life by any means. When I am in New York or Geneva, I am never on GS or hell on the PC. This website provides me a forum for conversation outside of the 20 Afghans in my province with whom I can not have a decent conversation.
If I was in Herat I would never be on GS. Hell when I am in Pakistan i am rarely on GS.
