stainless steel

Does anyone have any hints on how to get rid of smudges on stainless steel and chrome appliances?

Any advice would be much appreciated…the constant wiping and cleaning of them is driving me mad.

assalamoalikum :jhanda:

my mam uses soap filled pads (brillo) and the bartan look as good as new

i don't think you can use those brillo pad things on kitchen appliances though.....wouldn't it scratch the surface?

works fine on ours

There are special creams for Chrome/ stainless steel equipment.
Dont use normal soap :nono:

That can if to strong damage the surface

Special soaps in combination with soft polish and towells :k:

Spiritus can work as well, depending on what kinda chrome it is, or other alcoholic substances

Have you used vinegar or soda? They clean pretty well.

We have stainless steel appliances and use a special stainless steel cleaner for that. If you ask the ppl at the place u got the appliances from, they will tell you.

as far as smudges go, they will happen. the way to avoid having them is to avoid making the smudges. use the handles :)

Fraudz, I have the special cleaner that comes with the appliances but still find that sometimes they can leave streaks behind....tried using less and it takes more elbow power to get the same showroom shine.
