I joined GS looking for wedding ideas and was mainly active in the wedding forums

then I stumbled upon life1 and found it to be fascinating, it was interesting reading other people’s life stories (interesting in more ways than one :p) and reading the advices being
given out
** Stage 3: The senior member

subsequently I found cafe and became more active in cafe … wedding was gone I was just in cafe and life 1
** Stage 4: The mod

then i became a mod and became more active in all views … while still being active in cafe …life1 and wedding were gone…
Stage1: stumbled upon gs when i was looking for ideas for my wedding last year..followed all the new threads..asked for advice alot of times..sahar, sgc and shenai heels are great mods..the wedding forum is very active and accepts new people easily(unlike other forums unfortunately). I was sure i would stick to gs even after my wedding and would come back to share my wedding experience but unfortunately was so busy adjusting in a new family that forgot all about it.
Stage2: few months later->parenting forum: best place for preg advice..been regular on gs since then.
Stage3: downloaded the gs iphone app. Its not as good as the webpage but its easier.
Stage4: i check the newest threads twice thrice a day and post whenever there is a topic of my interest but i read almost all the new and top threads..still cant figure out y cant I read all those new interesting blogs that show up on this app..life1 and cafe forum are not at all welcoming:( i try to post my 2cents but it seems the senior members just talk to each other and dont really consider the new members:(
wish i would have joined gs earlier:)
I am probably the only one who joined GS after searching for "Pakistani forums" in Google. What impressed me most was the way people were discussing issues in a civil manner and also the variety of topics that Pakistani communities don't like to discuss. I also found this community displaying a higher level of intellect than any other Pakistani forum.
As for my stages, I didn't experience many stages here. I'm almost at the same stage from day one, I know very few people and very few people know me and I prefer to stay like that.
step1: join - i had a life but i didnt appreciate it
step 2: becoming a cafiete - i have flooded A LOT , 2932uq8 nicks even i get confused today when i come across one if it was really me(true story)
step 3: made it up tp the mod team - i had a different and a positive view for gs
step 4: made it off the mod team and i have a different view
step 5: got banned - (it was an achievement for me)
step 6: now i am a troll and viewed as the weird kind .I am ok with it.

3) Sifted out people I want to talk to on GS.

5) Crazy mod. x 5. coz managed 5 forums at once.
6) Renounced as mod.
7) Left GS. Posting and Blogging.
8) Came back on GS.
9) These days. Invisible reader of Life 1 threads and occasionally other threads. Write a blog once in 20 something days? Read someone else's blog, once in a blue moon.
I was looking for something on Islam on google when Paklinks.com came up…
Step 2 : Opened my first thread in Life1 - got totally attacked by some weird guy for no reason…never wanted to open another thread in Life1..its a very scary place
Step 3 : discovered CAFE as u can see by the number of posts…I was a flooder! Then dropped off the radar for a while..avoided cafe..
Step 4 : Became a MOD - am still feeling my way around this new stage
Stage 1: Denial. I forgot that someone had mentioned GS to me.
Stage 2: Silent stalking. A friend of mine was browsing it. I remembered the earlier episode. I started browsing
Stage 3: Silent stalking Part 2: Browsed some more. Got a feel for the various characters
Stage 4: Jumping on the bandwagon. I finally joined it. From the moment of Khumar’s inception, she’s been a cafiete
Stage 5: No one likes me
Stage 6: Disappearance act.
Stage 7: Back with a bang. With the help of a few choice guppans and guppies, I started flooding. My aim was to get 10K so I could get my smiley. Which I did. Within a few months. And I kept going
Stage 8: Denial part 2. I wasn’t a flooder! :halo:
Stage 9: Mod ship.
Stage 9.1: People are jerks
Stage 9.2: CRAP post count!!! DAMN YOU AD!!!
Stage 10: Oh hey I’m a CM!
Stage 11: Depression. My grades =(
Stage 12: Acceptance. I am now a normal member, a CM no more.
Stage1: Stumbled randomly across GS
Stage2: Joined just for the sake of arguing with Reha (who now I’d like to say is one of the most nicest people I’ve seen on GS )
Stage3: Kept myself to Life1 and flooded like crazy
Stage4: Never got warned but a PM now and then to avoid derailing topics
Stage5: Got made a Mod
Stage6: Everyone I knew got made a Mod too so fun all around
Stage7:
Stage8: Convincing people that with so much going on in my life sometimes warning them or moving their posts is pretty much not on the scale of anything and I don’t wake up with their name
Stage9: CM..
Stage 1: Join GS. Look around just a bit
Stage 2: Make friends. Flood like crazy
Stage 3: "Mods are horrible and evil and they are after me"
Stage 4: Become mod.
Stage 5: Yeah so umm I'm getting married/having kids/have a life, can't come on GS anymore.
