I dont know by what stretch of imagination you call Indian and Pakistani generals of being from same ethnicity … maybe you can clarify what ethnicity means.

Now i can understand the " cup of tea" story in Pakistan forums as they have been fed these lies about " Indian attacks" for a long time …

But it is time people in Pakistan shoudl look beyond the rhetoric and understand and know how the army has been manipulating the country to stay in power … going back to 1965 war … here is something which was talked about recently by a retired air marshal in Pakistan … now corelate this to what is known in your history books and what is said about 65 war …

The long and short of his discussion with Gen Malik was, “don’t worry, because the plan to send in some 800,000 infiltrators inside the occupied territory to throw out the Indian troops with the help of the local population”, was so designed that the Indians would not be able retaliate and therefore the airforce need not get into war-time mode.

This was in July 1965 … war started in September 1965 !!!

Short answers to your long questions.

1. Both Indian and Pakistani armies draw their command from Punjabi and Pashtoon origions. This area has been the supplier of troops from time immemorial. Both Muslims and non-Muslim dynasties would draw their armies from this area. And both Muslims and non-Muslim Punjabis and Pashtoons (mostly non-FATA) have been the serving in the armies for 1000’s of years.

2. 1965 war was started by Pak army in Kashmir. There is no doubt about it. Their calculations were wrong about India not crossing international borders. There is no conspiracy theory. It is a known fact. I won’t go into details as this is not the main topic.
