Stable and long term income v/s High but short term income

A job can prove to be a stable source of income that promises a security longer term.

on the contrary , a business , or , certain careers like Football players or Actors or Models may prove to be high income jobs but may have a short life.

Would this bother you if your kid chooses the second option? if not , how would you prepare them to deal with the negatives of high but short term income?

Re: Stable and long term income v/s High but short term income

the success rate in sports and entertainment industry is extremely low. i would not recommend my kids to enter any of these fields. there are professions which have much much higher rate of success.

a less but more stable income is that what matters the most. i'll be happy with this for my child.
