Sseccus

Sitting opposite the computer screen after a long time with the windows open and the light pre-winter breeze blowing across the room carrying the fragrance of the Maria tree , I think to myself what is life, what is success.

If success is being happy in the happiness of your peers, If success is seeing your friends getting married and starting a new life while being at the peak of their career , whereas the word career does not exist for you. If success is playing second fiddle in engagements and wedding receptions of your cousins (Btw: feels like playing characters like “tun tun” and “Johnny lever” in hindi movies). If success is hiding your emotions and keeping this big stupid smile on your face while your heart is being tossed around and crushed. If success is watching and realizing each and every second of life passing by. If success is over hearing your relatives back biting about you and turning a blind eye towards them.

If success is seeing the pain in the eyes of your parents and not letting them see it in your eyes.
Then I think I am the most successful person on earth.
I disagree with the statement ”being larger than life” It consumes us all in every possible sense.

PS: sorry for this pathetic, pessimistic, cynical and gloomy thread. On a lighter note our malee (gardner) “gul zaman” had his eighth kid , and the massee(maid) who works for us got her daughter married.

Re: Sseccus

success is when u name ur son gul zaman :o: and then marryhim off while the employer is feeling pathetic

Re: Sseccus

Re: Sseccus

eighth kid is success, from the point of view of evolution

BTW: OG I owe you a big apology.

Re: Sseccus

I think that success is about using the punctuations and learning to spell correctly.
