I've always liked Kajol. I remember when I first saw her in the move, Baazigar, everyone in my family thought I was crazy for thinking she was more attractive than Shilpa Shetty (pre-nose operation). Although she might not be considered conventionally pretty according to desi standards (fair skin, patli naak, bla bla bla), she has a sort of raw and earthy appeal and beauty that is missing in Kareena, Karishma, etc.
And I like her acting as well. It has a more natural feel to it.
