Me thinks this move is an open invitation to the next squad of retirees from Pakistan squad to join in on the commentary/official team and…and…and make the life beautiful for all of us.

Imagine Inzamam sitting on the match referee seat one day (Oooooh, maybe another 30-40 years from now) and a batsman tries to “deliberately” play a ‘defensive’ stroke onto an incoming throw from the outfield. Shall we witness, for the first time in history, batsman being retained against his will at the striker’s end for “obstructing the field”?
