BTW, here is some more history.
One of the major communities that lived in Kashmir worshipped snakes and trees and were called the Nagas. Islamabad area was known as Anant-Nag, the source of Jhelum Vir-Nag and so on. So there's nothing mythical or magical in somebody who created / reclaimed such a land mass by draining a lake was fondly known as father of the nagas.
By the way, Rajatarangini is globally acknowledged as one of the most trustworthy and reliable historical texts in Sanskrit. You people who claim to be Kashmiri may atleast make some attampts at learning at least a little bit about Kashmiri history before coming here to wail about India!
