I think Inzi has got it all wrong, won the toss and opt to field, not a good idea in test match, to support his theory Asif got 3 wickets but that could be done after batting as well. 
anyways seems like Inzi and Dravid had an exchange of conversation on phone before the test

5 wickets to Asif :k: :k: and 3 to Kaneria.
Not a bad day for Pak overall… as long as they capitalize upon the opportunity and post a significant lead in their first innings.

Sounds like we had a very good day at the office. Asif just seems like the bowler we have always been looking for, and coupled with Shoaib, I can definitely attest that Pakistani bowling attack would be arguably one of the top most lethal combinations in World Cricket. Also good to see Kaneria getting back to his usual self by picking up regular wickets. All in all, a very positive day for Pakistan!

Since I am not keeping count, someone refresh my memory; why is Iftikhar Anjum picked over Afridi? Is the latter injured, or was he dropped from the side?

It's one of those decisions that defies common logic... Malik is injured ==> One less option for spin... and you don't play Afridi either ==> two less options.
Basically, it seems like the team management is playing Afridi as purely a batting option yet again! They never learn.

I mean, surely, with this garbage selection of a bare club cricketer, there has to be some kind of a justification behind it? It's not like we have dropped someone who managed to slog his way to the scores of 103, 156 and 60 in the last four test innings, bar a single innings?

It's staggering that Inzi and Woolmer still don't understand the importance of Khan bhai. He is a partnership breaker, and solid batsmen at 6. Faisal Iqbal for Afridi??? Come on!!!!

I think if they explained it to Afridi about resting then thats a positive sign. I just want the management to be more loyal to Afridi.

I don't see any reason for picking Rao...I think Afridi should have been picked instead of Rao.
