I got into a very patriotic mood after hearing that Malinga (Sri Lankan cricketer for those who dnt know!!!), refused to play cricket for Sri Lanka coz he felt he deserves more money :mad:

Malinga should just go to hell…anywayssssss…

I have visited almost all of those places…just a few more to go…

i want to visit all sarc countries.....like europeans love to travel across europe...this is our neighborhood and i love it....

i think its candy where they have british era homes and climate like england also coffee plantations too?

But not just Kandy…but the hill country (highlands), is where the climate is cooler and they a lot of British & Dutch Era homes..most of them have been turned into hotels

oh so its kandy i fogot the spellings....but i like the name kandy.....
one of the reason i like srilanka because muslim minority is happy there in srilanka.......:)
we used to have radio ceylon in india
actually i alway thought that you should open thread about srilanka.....:)you should share more things about srilanka.....:D

Yeaa..Muslims are quite happy there…all my best friends there during school are Muslims..and I have had the craziest fun with them, and always got into trouble covering up for them :smack:

i think indians can get visa on arrival right?

my mother makes a soup using rice and daal and she call it srilankan soup…:smiley:

ok sinhali script is different from tamil ?but do you have any common vocabulary?

I don’t visit every year…but I did last year, and this year…but I tell you it was FREAKIN HOT!!! my skin can’t handle that heat anymore and I found out this year when I went snorkeling and got sun burnt from head to toe…litteraly from HEAD to TOE…I could not believe it!

Sinhalese and Tamil…there is no common vocabulary…because Sinhalese comes from Sanskrit while Tamil os a Dravida language…

They have also recently discovered after the war that Sri Lanka has the largest Blue Whale Colony in the WORLD!!! I hope it stays that way, and they dnt migrate..they live there all year long!!!

i dont blame malinga, someone in the srilankan cricket board is eating away vast sums of its budget, and its not the players.

do these blue whales live in the 5 star hotels in colombo? :P

While I was there the electricity went off for like a few seconds in the night while I was sleeping…but that was it…so it is ok…

I do blame Malinga coz he is not playing Test Cricket anymore..so why should he get a lot of money…

The blue whales might have found their own 5star hotel..but not in Colombo…it is in Trinco and that area…

^its true...if we stick him on a paddy field in SL..he would scare away the crows....all the farmers will be very happy... ( he is skinny, tall, scary and blonde)

P.S. The 1st time I saw him, I wanted to take a pair of scissors to his hair :/
