We need to keep Butt's Butt out atleast for this game so that he stops taking things for granted. Like Miandad said, "Itnay balay paishay miltay hain inko khailnay ko, yeh waisay naii khail laey". So there should be some accountability in place, Butt also deserves a Sami-like treatment to learn his lessons.
Let Salman Butt play for one more Test, this is Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka, there is no other "lighter" team for him to play and get-in-da-groove again till the ICCCT.
Better yet, we can keep him out of our team until we go ahead and play with the greatest teams of all time in next year’s World Cup, with the likes of Holland, Scotland, Canada, Ireland and Bermuda.
Hey, who knows. Team USA might as well be planning to step up for the plate and ‘get-in-da-groove’ for 2011, which will be held in our backyard. Let those goras come, and we will be Peshawari chappal maareeng them desi-style. We always can call Salim Malik if there is something that need fixing, can’t we? After all, it’s still Team USA. We don’t want another “Bush” incident on our hands. (God bless our opener Butt, as once noted by Some1 Jee).
I thought we agreed to sack him after his inconsistent performances in both the tests and in ODIs and his inability to run a 100 yards in one constant breath and his kahiliat in baal kay peechay bhageeng and his Mota Aloo thingie and his not speaking angraizi and his baar baar split our gaps with his bat wala lecture and his holding all mullah-community of Pakistan together in unity and his, and his…and…his…his…* runs out of breath and faints *

Chaminda Vaas said throughout his career he had set targets for himself to keep himself going. “Any cricketer needs to set targets for himself and constantly revive how he progresses. One of the problems I see among the youngsters is that they don’t set targets for themselves. They are just happy to say they’ve represented Sri Lanka and fade away after that.”*
*- Pakistan’s cricket authorities have asked national team manager Zaheer Abbas to to help out Pakistan batsmen on SL tour and act as a sort of a batting trainer, a move that might further curtail the role of coach Bob Woolmer. Shaharyar Khan told reporters here on Thursday that Zaheer has been asked to help out the batsmen after a series of “irresponsible outings” from them during the ongoing tour of Sri Lanka.
With another former star Waqar Younis recently inducted in the team management as the bowling coach, the move to give Zaheer added responsibilities in the batting department could be a sign of the beginning of the end of Bob Woolmer’s stint as the Pakistan coach. There is already a whispering campaign going on within the national cricket set-up that the Englishman is not very happy over the appointment of Waqar as the bowling coach.
The article above seems like is from Mr. Waheed Khan..hehe, but its not, and as far as Woolmer is not happy with Waqaaa well then I think he has to work on his own statement that “we have to work together, to make this young team a force in world of cricket” and I think media do like to spice up things well elt them return from the tour. doodh ka doodh pani ka pani ho jaye ga.
