A combination of (Farhat + Hameed) or (Farhat + Butt) should be considered the most likely, in my opinion. Malik is not an option. He is consistently being shuffled up and down the order already as it is, and it should now be time to persist with either one of the two combinations above, and stick with it for the time being, at least until the beginning of English tour which would, in turn, provide the necessary confidence to both the batters and boost their faith to greater heights.

Agreed. Farhat+Butt pair deserved another chance but unfortunately Shoaib Malik performed as an opener in ODIs (specially the last one) that booked his place as an opener for the test
Yasir should be tried so that we have a left and right hand combination to start with.
