SA is so intense in their bowling and fielding...SL could never break the stranglehold. Tough loss in such a small over match.

I am not impressed.
As it is, Twenty-20 is a very short game. And to decide an important match on the basis of just 7 or 8 overs is not right imo esp. in a world cup
They should have had atleast one reserve day in case of bad weather for every game
Let's hope the SFs and Final are not 7 or 8 over affairs!!!

yeah seems like TK Dilshan is the only big hitter..and he got out without scoring...SL rely on TK Dilshans start a lot...

But I still think that in such a short game, the team batting first has a slight advantage. They can basically throw the kitchen sink at everything knowing they have only 7 or 8 overs to negotiate
There is more pressure on the team batting second; chasing 11-12 runs per over is never easy under any circumstances

while i agree it wasnt a real match. but to make things fair they should have also restricted the number of batsmen to 5 and eased the fielding restrictions.
