The free one is Ad Aware as Zapatista has quoted. Although after 2007, they made it a lot heavy and I actually dont really like it.

Although if you are considering the best one then I would prefer “Malwarebytes Antimalware” Although it is not free. =]

Oh BTW you can also try Windows Defender (Vista - Win 7) to scan your computer for it. Although its not that much effective but still a bit.

For other Win, there is a malware removal tool by microsoft too you can try that if you want.

I have SpyBot - Search and Destroy V 1.6

it works very nice for me
