If, for some reason, the 2013 Range Rover isn’t big and luxurious enough for you, it looks like help is on the way. Spy photographers have caught a long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover testing with light camouflage and seemingly in production-ready trim, which means we could see this lengthened model sooner rather than later.
According to our sources on the ground, the Range Rover’s wheelbase has been extended by almost six inches, which seems about right when comparing the panoramic roof of the standard version with where it lines up in these spy shots. The extra inches added between the B- and C-pillars will maximize rear-passenger comfort. This stretched Range Rover is almost certainly destined for the LWB-friendly Chinese market and we’re pretty sure Land Rover will bring it to the US, as well, adding yet another model to the ever-expanding Range Rover family. Go ahead and have a closer look at the beefed up Landie in our gallery of spy shots, here. LWB 2014 Range Rover spied in XXL camo originally appeared on Autoblog on Wed, 03 Jul 2013 18:29:00 EST.
