SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

Im posting pictures of upcoming trends for spring 2006…mainly for the ones that I am adoring alot…such as bold lips (woohoo!), messy updos (shiny hair will always be in but sorta dry messy hair is so sexy), funky braids, high ponytails,stacked/platform heels (yes! no more balancing teeny weeny stilettos) , fuller eyebrows (skinny brows are out), oversized totes, white eyeliner.

so how are you gurls updating your look for this spring? Or are you not updating at all? i get sick of all one length long hair so im probably gonna get a few layers near the crown put in and maybe bangs…also im stashing my straightner/blowdryer away for good… im gonna stick to loose waves for this season.
for makeup i’ve already been into the bold lip color look…im thinking of investing in a good sheer blush-on…time for a raid on sephora!

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

gorjus! iv seen that first pic of gemma ward?? in nearly every magazine. love the new spring look .. i might change my wardrobe =D lol

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

I dont like white eye liner, big totes, bold lips(lip gloss rocks!) or big shades
I guess I am a paindoo for life:bobo:

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

fuller eyebrows have been in for ages :o … its all abt what suits you and what you like..

accha batao  what abt cute skirts n kurtas n stuff, a la summer 05? Would those still be in or am i just so behind :bummer:

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

now its skirts with different patterns...hmmm i have seen some kurtas, not too many :o

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

Oh and how im gnna update my look, well i mite go shopping (well no, not maybe, definitely will :D) but i gotta get a job and get some money first :frowning: decisions decisions.. ipod nano  or new clothes.. :bummer:

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

errrr i personally dont dig cotton kurtas…they make people look huge.

this seasons clothes are more ladylike…skinny pants/wideleg trousers/ dresses and shirtdresses/ romantic blouses etc…boho is out. however im not letting go of my long flowy skirts just yet…they are too pretty paired with glitzy belts and flats

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

how can they possibly change eyebrow trends :hoonh: Eyebrow hair do stop growing out when consistantly plucked I think. Makeup and hair look good, Big totes are a continuation too. But platforms :yukh:

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

why do u care what is in or out?
if u like something wear it
that's what i have always done,
yeah i'l look to see if there is anything that is "in" that i may like but i dont conform myself to that

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

I’m trying to grow my hair. I’m getting tired of the ‘natural’ hair colour so I’m going back to red in a month or two. Probably will start with a few highlights here and there and gradually colour it all.

I also need a whole new wardrobe. I was hoping not to buy anything at all, but looks like I will be here for quite a while so I might as well invest and buy new tops.

I also need a new pair of jeans. I think I will go shopping this weekend if I can.

There’s also quite a few lipsticks I need to buy. I got a new concealer since I figure, I’m getting old, I need to start wearing it … but I don’t even know how to apply it.

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

sidz angel: you dont have to conform to anything written in this thread....

Femme: well you could try growing them out or filling them in with a pencil...
i think platforms are a bit loud...they make a statement....

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

i think you should get a concealer brush. its a good investment.

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

My eyebrows r fine SD:D I never overthread them. But I do have a few cousins Who go pencil thin with their plucking.

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

femme: oh i didnt mean you as in YOU…i meant you as in whoever wants to adopt the bushy brow trend…i was standing really close to this lady in the subway once…i looked closely and i saw she didnt have any brows!!! it was a pencilled line all the way:eek:

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

^ you see that to me looks fake, if it is too thin it seems out of proportion, don't you think? I had mine quite thick at first and then went thinner now I keep it somewhere in the middle so it doesn't make my eyebrows look too high up, giving me a shocked look. Plus I have fine brows so I do pencil or apply black eyeshadow to fill it in, nothing too dramatic, I try to keep it natural.

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

yeah i kno i dont have to conform, was just stating a point
(i like wedge heels)

really? i never tried using a brush, i do ti with my fingers, does an application w/ a brush really diff ?

Re: SPRING 2006 TOP TRENDS

yeah it gives better coverage because when you use fingers the heat from the fingers basically melts the makeup and the coverage is lost...
