Does anyone know of a reliable (and not massively expensive) laptop spray painting service? Or if anyone here on GS can do it could you send me a pm..
I have a 17" Sony Vaio that I want to turn hot pink.. or maybe an aqua blue :DHave seen tutorials on Youtube but don’t have the guts to do it myself..

there are skins available......they can even print a pattern/photo/design etc etc......you just have to apply the skin onto the laptop...

Why would you paint your laptop? Use a skin.

Grow up! :p
Now, seriously GROW UP!
But, what do you want to spray paint? The top of the lid or the whole computer? Sony's look awesome in white like I have one.
Re: Spray painting a laptop
A skin won’t look good as this model has visible hinges attached to the front lid and anyway I don’t want just the lid done..
This is what I’d like.. but in a different colour..
Re: Spray painting a laptop
You do know that this could possibly void your warranty if you have one? You would need to get it done professionally, since one can easily fry the internal components if the paint slips through and yeah, did i mention you voided your warranty? :D

Re: Spray painting a laptop
Spray painting is a very bad idea..........spray paint will be uneven and leave patches and its not going to hold for long.

Deeba, the paint will wear off quickly given that your laptop heats up and I’m sure you’ll be putting it inside a bag to take it around.
Re: Spray painting a laptop
Wouldn’t reccomend it. Use vinyl or carbon foil instead…can’t do much wrong.
