staying with spouses who have strong, principled ethical personalities and beliefs, do the less principled, ethical spouses with own personalities and beliefs, eventually change?

personality can change since its the secondary trait but not the character which is the primary. so if you expect a person to change totally [character wise] then i think its almost impossible. personality can change as needed / required.
beliefs are like lies. keep on telling them day after day and someone will fall for them. look at the USA awam.
