Spouse visa requirements to UK

Hi,

I recently got married in Pakistan and need to apply for my wife to join me here in UK. I am British citizen by the way.

I need some advice regarding the documentations I need to get a speedy processing of my wife visa please.

So far I have got :-

  • Letter from my employer with Job contract
  • Mortgage letter from the bank for my accommodation
  • Savings account statements
  • Nikah nama from pakistan

Please let me know if someone has gone through this recently and can provide tips.

Thank you.

Re: Spouse visa requirements to UK

Hi

Im going through this process for my husband, this is what we have submitted:

  1. Letter of my employment
  2. 6 months payslips
  3. 6 months bank statements
  4. Proof of accomodation
  5. Nikah nama (translated too)
  6. Proof of communication with spouse (skype screen shots, whatsapp conversations or whatever method you use)
  7. Wedding pictures

I think thats all. He had to give letter from his work and payslips, take TB test and English test.

Were currently in the waiting process so hopefully these are all sufficient!

What Sukoon says.

Re: Spouse visa requirements to UK

your wife needs to get herself tested for tb
she needs to pass the english exam
you need to provide your marriage certificate (in english)
you need to give your bank statements for past 6 months showing your salary coming in
your passport copy (all pages copied)
and if you two have been on holiday then provide proof of that
provide proof if you visited pakistan to visit her after marriage

Re: Spouse visa requirements to UK

if you want a speedy decision you could go for premium service where they process everything on the day and tell you the decision on the day...i am not really sure if this service is available in pakistan though.

Re: Spouse visa requirements to UK

The salary has to be min around 18000k or around that level.
