Spouse visa 4 USA

I posted this b4 but didn’t get any response so I am posting it here again.

I know some1 who got married in November, 2005. He applied for his Spouse’s Visa in about January, 2006 and everything is fine. Recently he has sent the Affidavit form (which i think is the last step for him, right?). He is a US Citizen so how long will it take until they contact his wife in Pakistan for interview and for her to get the visa. It has been about a month since he sent the Affidavit forms. Any Idea???

InshAllah at most 6 months.

There is a US Govt website where he can track the status of his application, I will find out if you need to know.

After the Affidavit forms have been sent and it has been 1 month???
