Spots/pimples/acne...whatever you wana call the darn things..

Ever had them? How long do they take to bug off

See a dermatologist. It varies from person to person. Don't apply anything recommended by any Tom, Dick and Harry on your face. Please see a dermatologist. It's worth the investment. :)

^sometimes a specialist can't help you either, most likely s/he won't because these type of pimpals don't go away so easily with creams or face wash, plus it will cost you alot of money! My sister has acne pimpals, she tried everything that her specialist prescribed for her but she still has them!

You know, if you really want to get rid of them then first take care of your diet. If you eat alot of spicy food or food that contains too much oil or cheese then avoid it. Wash your face with a nice face wash atleast twice or thrice a day(softly), prolly with Clearasil or Avon acne products. Facial massage is good too but it depends on what type of skin you have. Something that works for my skin might not work for yours. Well good luck! :)

Had one once ..took 3 days to clear :crying:
Best prevention is to drink lost of water and not to eat too much oily foods.

Oh and use mild soap.

is it a lot..or just few here and there..

if its a lot you should see a doctor for prescribed medicine..coz few of my cousins got them and it works for them..

if its just normal here and there type zits..then it could be coz of numerous reasons..ranging from not drinking enough water..to not cleansing face properly..to eating unbalanced diet..come people get it from chocolates too..and lastly the biggest reason could be that you are tensed.. whatever the reason is..u can use over the counter products from a pharmacy..go to the acne section and grab something.. if you like natural products then tea tree products and neem tree products are good for acne.. also products that contains orange are good too.

scientifically proven, oily food and chocolates do not cause acne.

if its the odd spot that you get occassionally then try dabbing it with Tea Tree Oil several times a day, it helps speed the healing of the spot quite a lot.

I used to get these when I didn't shave regular... but I guess that's not your problem though is it? :D

:teary1: same problem here.. they never goo awayyy..tried everything :frowning:

I don't have scientific proof of what I said but I'm talking from experience as my sister has pimples too and she noticed it when she eats more oily foods her pimples increase or get worse. Hope it makes sense to you guys now.:)

DD: What kind of breaking is it? if it is acne.....it is theorized that there is genetic link and can be triggered by the slightest harmonal imbalance. There are various medications for it, but none of them have proven to be effective 100%.....the best advice most docs give.....especially if you are prone to acne is that you stay from any stressful activities and use good judgement in your diet. As for orher blemishes like pimples, it depends on you skin type, like most people with oily and damaged skin eat one cashew or almond and within 5 minutes a lil pimple pops up, while others can eat a kilogram of them without any trouble.

I had the worst case of pimples/acne in high school and I had ended up going to a dermatologist for it. My face is crystal clear now though. :)
