How old are you? How good is your (English) listening? Can you understand lyrics of English songs? That should be the starting point for you instead of taking some courses.

Re: Spoken English Training in Karachi
Thank God! I thought I was the only one even though I was born in US and my first language was english till I was 5-6 years old but I cant understand english songs. Bollywood/Pakistani songs all the way…!!
PS: Sorry for posting on an old post. Couldn’t resist.
Re: Spoken English Training in Karachi
I want to learn English from here. How can I take admission in it?
Re: Spoken English Training in Karachi
For someone who is trying to learn english on their own, its best if they listen to English song and be able to comprehend lyrics on their own. If not, lyrics are available online and they can listen to the song while reading. (or select videos with lyrics) This technique might not work on all of us but has proven to be effective generally.
Re: Spoken English Training in Karachi
Here is another thing I did. Watching movies and sitcoms. Works perfectly as there are a lot of jokes/situations which are specific to the US and for it to be understood you have to look it up. At the time I was watching them though internet was not as vast as it is now. With songs you have to like them or be interested in them in order to pick up the lyrics and I never liked US music.
