jab ma chota tha school ma master sahib nay pocha kay baray hoo kar kia bano gay.. hum nay kaha pilot… college may gaiy to engenier bananay ki khial ia…kuch arsay bad higher education kay liay foren janay ka socha ab foren may business par rahay hai.. kia batiay waqat oar taqder kay saat faselay be badal jatay hai…

hi sofia, a very nice thread... i think insaan ko wo career choose kerna chahye jo usay dil sey pasaand ho. mujhay hamesha sey doctor bananay ka shok tha aur aaj Allah ka shukar hai k main UK sey medicine ki degree ley rahi hun.. I feel agar lagan sachi ho to sab mil jata hai. per yeh pata kernay keh liya k kia aap key liye acha hai, aap khud us jagha per thora sa expereince lo, for example main ney medicine sey pehlay bohot sey hospitals key wards main doctors ko shadow kiya, surgeries main doctors ki one-2-one consultation dekhi. phir aap yeh dekhtay ho k doctor main yeh qualities hain kia aap main b aisi qualities hain, do u like intercating with people? do u like seeing blood? can u handle a death? similarly for other careers aap ko us jagha thora sa expereince lena chahye. I dont know whether u are in UK or not.. per UK main to yehi hota hai..
and dont worry about age. lagan sachi ho to cheez mil jati hai.

as a kid i didnt really give much thought to what i want to be. I have always loved Maths....in secondary school, i liked computers and maths...so wanted to do something computer related. then end of school i changed my mind to becoming a doctor.....talked to some doctors and uni med students and it put me off :D then i thought about doing computer science/IT....but when it came to applying for a degree i chose Pharmacy instead :)

I realized that I am good at interacting with people, managing them, and understanding their natures and personalities etc. Hence I decided to study Management but also keep up with the changing technology, so I ended up doing a minor in Management Information Systems.

i tested my waters for a good period of time.
Abu ji wanted his daughter nia to be the typical Doctor. Nia decided to start college by fullfilling abu ji's dream but after going through the College chem and purchasing book for physics. I almost fainted after giving first exam and failing physics miserably i knew it wasn't for me - droped the class :D
Went back to abu ji and said sorry dad can't do it i guess my brain is not going to function for medical stuff. I will be lucky if i can spell and write ibrupheon [spell?] see i cant even spell those big fat ugly words....
Computers caught my interest and from there i realize i love talking doing buk buk so business is the way that iwould like to do.
I love Selling i love pushing people to buy and commit to something. Started to work as a Sales rep was the hight profitable rep in the company worked out very well shukar hai.
Graduated and now i collect big bucks from big whales :D -
when i was a kid i wanted to be a FBI agent or Undercover COP.
i thought guns were fun and handcuffs were so cool

when i was in 8th (1985) i got some magazines "the economist" and I saw a l;ot of adds about MBAs so i taught ka hum MBA he karangan, and hum na jo Finance /Economics ka cheska para to Hum ho gai Kamyab:)
