Re: split ends

ur only option is to trim them

i cud tell u to use sum serums that r fro split ends but only thing they do is to stick the split ends together and its only effective as long as u brush ur hair again or wash ur hair so it doesnt work will be a waste of money

so u better trim ur hair

yes,the only solution for split ends to get your hair trimmed..
and also, avoid brushing your hair when it is wet..

Re: split ends

yup regular trims

Yea i do that, thanks you friends:)

Re: split ends

Regular trims plus a morrocan oil called Argan oil is very good for split ends. its best in pure forms. the western world is catching on, Kiehls now use it in an hair oil of theirs.

Re: split ends

^ I agree

Re: split ends

get your hair trimmed regularly :flower1:
dont’t brush wet hair, use wide tooth comb :flower2:
minimize use of blow dryers, irons, other products. :flower1:

Re: split ends

dont’t brush wet hair n use wooden comb regular

I agree try not to comb through wet hair and try not to use blow dryers or any hot irons to your hair too often.

i’m prone to split ends as well but as long as you trim them off every 6-8 weeks you should be fine. if anything i highly recommend a leave in conditioner such as:

Buy Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream Online at drugstore.com

leave in conditioners are also great for women that use heated styling tools often and is great at repairing damaged hair. If you are prone to STATIC in the winter this also helps alleviate that problem.

Try to go in to your salon for a DEEP CONDITIONING every 3-4 weeks also. Natural things you can do is to use shampoo with amla oil or

Another great shampoo to repair split ends is AYUR’s amla shampoo

if any of yall are familiar with SILK THERAPY from the company biosilk well that ayur shampoo is agreat it leaves your hair super shiny, doesn’t smell like amla oil once dry and seals up all your split ends.

Re: split ends

i read terrible reviews about ayur's shampoo.. have you used it personally, do you like it?

Re: split ends

best thing for split ends is to stop blow drying...instead dry hair under sunlight

yes i have and i do like it a lot, it really did seal up all my split ends. I= going to college in san antonio at the time i found it in a desi shop and we barely had desi stores at that time. anyhow my group was going to perform and being on stage and all my friends mom told us to come over and she'll put amla oil in our hair for us. Well she's kinda pushy and i hated the smell but loved the results of amla oil. Anyhow long story short i found the shampoo, used it, loved how super shiny it got my hair and how is sealed up majority of my split ends at the time. (im from houston and didn't trust any salon in Sa to do my hair or eyebrows for a long time).

I've been a fan ever since. A few years back my cousin anam came to visit from back home and she too complained about split ends, i leant her my shampoo (as it's hard to find here and so i use it sparingly) and she loved the results as well. her mom was a fan soo after.

Also i tired dove and it's great for everyday use but it doesn't do anything for my split ends like the nuetrogena stuff i recommended above.

dum da dum dum........time to bring out the scissors!

Prevention is better than the cure they say. So, in order to prevent split-ends to a greater degree, limit use of blow dryer, condition your hair, do not brush hair when wet, use a wide-tooth comb for hair as it prevents hair splitting, don't put hair in tight pony tails, and oil your hair. A chemistry teacher once told us that mustard oil prevents split ends.
