How do spirituality, sufism mix with science and what is their contribution?
Yester-eras sufisim has got no compatibility with science!
Connecting with Allaah could never be proven by science unless a person starts showing karamat (miracles) in the open infront of recording equipment or scientists. It is purely faith, even other Muslims are not under obligation to believe a sufi.
Depends on how one defines sufism. It seems to be not just obedience to the laws but turning one's heart to submission to Allaah in a big way. Gone are a normal life, it is servitude to another level and finding contentment in that,
Sufism is considered science bcoz murshids used process to help students clean their inner self and become closer to Allah. It is about purifying the self.
