almost 3 days back I saw a black spider in my dream. It was very big and in my dream I thought of it as poisonous . I saw that the spider was on the edge of my duppatta.
my mom says that seeing a spider is not a bad thing but I was scared of the spider and it was harming me.
what could this mean?

Well I have been under alot of stress but I think that I am in much better state now than I was 2-3 months back.

Sometimes your dreams mean nothing, maybe this was just that. According to one of my books, dreams are most reliable (more likely to have a meaning) in the last phase of the night or during the afternoon or when you just sleep during the day. In the winter time and when it's about to rain, dreams are less likely to have a real meaning.
About spiders my book says that it's a symbol of a pious person who uses all his time for worship. He's a hermit who watches his time and always shows repentance to Allah.
However, there is also a chapter in my book which says that sometimes the meaning depends on the character of the dreamer, if that person is evil, the dream could have a different meaning than that of a good person. Time can also change the meaning of the dream, a dream can have a certain meaning if dreamt during the night, but if someone dreams that same dream in daytime, the meaning completely changes.
