Re: spf for pakistan
Aveeno makes an spf for the face 100+ Its in a yellow tube and i have only seen it at cvs pharmacy
Nuetrogena also makes one called " Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100+" sold at walmart etc
Re: spf for pakistan
Out of commercial brands, I like Aveeno because it doesn't leave a white residue.
Europeans are ahead of the game when it comes to sunscreens whereas the US is behind as the FDA hasn't approved of the the effective ingredients that Euro/Canadian sunscreens contain. There are two types of Mexoryls and tinosorb...which make sunblock effective. I use the La Roche Posay...which has all three. Doesn't cast the whitish residue unless you apply too much and I figure it's better to get all three ingredients. I fear the aging effects of the sun on skin.
Re: spf for pakistan
I can still go pretty brown with spf 30..
If you don’t want to get darker go for at least spf 50..
Re: spf for pakistan
From webmd
According to Spencer, an SPF 15 product blocks about 94% of UVB rays; an SPF 30 product blocks 97% of UVB rays; and an SPF 45 product blocks about 98% of rays.
Whatever product you choose, experts recommend using a water-resistant sunscreen applied liberally one half hour before going outdoors. Sunscreen should be reapplied at least every two hours or after swimming, drying off, or sweating.
"The best way make sure you are protected is to reapply sunscreen often," Spencer says. "You just can't put it on in the morning and forget about it. I don't care if it's SPF 800 or the best UVA protection, after a few hours it's gone.
Hope that helps ![]()
Re: spf for pakistan
So if somebody is wearing makeup, how do they reapply every two hours?

Its difficult if the sunscreen is a cream but if you have sunscreen in a milk, powder or spray form it is possible without ruining your makeup. You could always just not wear base makeup and just concealer or avoid the sun.

I ordered from the Canadian website, pharmacymix.com. There are several that contain both types Mexoryl and tinosorb. I have the Anthelios XL in 50+ in the 300 ml tube. As I said earlier, if you apply too much it'll leave a white coat on your skin. I would suggest that you ask for samples because they do send them out. See which of the samples works for you before ordering the bottle cuz the range is pricey.
