Someone i know is taking this test as the couple are trying for a baby. Aside from the funny situation i just want to know what does this entail? I mean after they get the sperm what happens?..
Furthermore in the case of them saying your sperm is no good…or whatever…then what?
Say Bismillah and go for it. Infact my hubby has had it done too. but it was a bit tooooo early for us since we have been tryin for only 4 months but i just wanted to be sure. it was awkward for him but he went ahead anyway. Alhamdulilah everythin is ok. i can tell u the things they will check:
1)Sperm count (most imp thing!) if its low it can have effects on conceiving so they will give medicine
2)Sperm Motility (which means the ability of the sperm to travel to the egg. this is also v v important cus if its low then it means ur sperms has a hard time reaching the egg.
3) The other things they check like RBC, Viscocity, Sluggish, dead, Poscells etc.
Hope this helps :)
So if the sperm is not strong enough they can give medicine for that?
So what if they find the sperm is ok...and the female partner has had her tests as well as she is given the green signal as well...and they still arent conceiving? what would/could be the reason for that?

actually its not quite possible that both their tests are normal then. there is definitely a prob in either one of the spouse due to which they are unable to conceive. it can be hormonal, PCOS for women and sperm count etc for men. havin said that, i believe in fate too... so if Allah wills, even if both of them are fertile, they mite still find it difficult to get preg.
IF all the tests have been done for both of them and IF they havent conceived in a reasonable amount of time then the fertility specialists start looking for interactions between the guy's sperm and the gal's egg. Its not very common but sometimes the sperms are not able to enter and fertilize the egg due to some kind of allergy or due to lack of a certain (protein I think) that the sperm uses to get into the egg. In those cases, the couple would need to go for IVF.
^ Then they sift-thru and find the healthy one's same process for the female where they find the healthy eggs to be fertilized.
The one get first into egg make it fertile, also kills all other. that's way humans have only one baby.
If to fertile 2 eggs same time we get out selves fraternal twins.
If one egg split into two that makes identical twin.
its all abt fate, a relative of mine married abt 4-5 yrs ago and didnt have any children, they went to doctor and they told them we cant fin anything bad, nd they still couldnt have any. now5 yrs later they got a cute little girl.
