I sometimes have a couple of spelling errors here and there, which I usually catch at a second glance and correct it. However, what I find terribly annoying is the autocorrect on my phone. It is not always so correct! Sometimes you're typing and it suggests and inserts a word that is way off from the word your meant to write :D
I am generally good at spelling words correctly.
I correct people who are close to me when we are alone. Usually don't correct strangers or people I know would mind.
Sometimes when in an argument, I might correct someone's English or urdu to get back at them but it really depends on who the next person is.

Auto correct is blessing… I really like it… For some reason.. to date I don’t know correct spelling of “believe”…
I mean bold part of word believe… I always place E after L

The mobile autocorrect annoys me with its suggestions
I was really good with the ‘ie’ and the ‘ei’ before…not anymore though

Okay… I think… Auto correct is good in apple and android products… i am not sure if nokia and other brands windos phone have such authentic system of word correction…

i totally agree...one girl got banned on one of forums ... she explained well but admins found her guilty of spoiling 'kids' on that forum. the auto-correct corrected a perfect abbreviation of the word 'SECond'...her sentence was: "i was just gone for a SEC(?)" ... OMG...lol

I hv an offline dictionary on my phone. When confused about a spelling, I check there unless I'm in a hurry.

I have an iphone and the autocorrect sometimes irritates me. You know though, I’m not so sure “autocorrect” is the right term for what I’m referring to. What I’m referring to is the tendency it has to try to complete the word you’re typing, which sometimes completes or inserts the wrong word.

What do think about online dictionaries?
