Speed

Do you like speeding on car/bike either in traffic OR on emtry straight long road??

Re: Speed

Not really. I usually drive just a few km/h above the allowed speed limit. Most of the speeding tickets I have received where due to me not paying attention to a speed limit sign. And not due to actual speeding.

Re: Speed

but I want a race with you… what to do now??

Re: Speed

guysssss replyyyy… dont you like speed??

Re: Speed

Spaniards are crazy about speeding. When I was there I drove my dear friends BMW at 210km/h he would do 240 . Germany was crazy also. Here we have photo radars and one month my speeding tickets were worth more than my mortgage so that was a great deterrent and now I drive like a granny. I want to save that money for my kids. Although I am now starting to dream of the 700hp Hell Cats. Most of my vehicles were over 5 litre engines, now I traded a couple for smaller engines. My SUV is 6.3 liters.

Re: Speed

Oye Hoye!! ballay ballay Uncle jee :biggthumb:

I just loveee speed… will love to see that 700hp car(best of luck)… did you check Bugatti Chiron ??

P.S: do you like superbikes too??

Re: Speed

I am sorry didnt check the Bugati, the thing I like about Charger 700hp is that an average guy can afford it

Re: Speed

I prefer driving fast on a twisty road more than driving fast in a straight line. I have had my eyes on the toyota gt86 for a while. I test drove it and it wasn’t that fast. However, I loved the seating position, the pedal, the steering. It’s a real driver’s car.

Re: Speed

I love driving in Germany because on most of their motorways there is no speed limit.

Re: Speed

It’s a very thrilling experience, have raced a few times on the highway with random strangers. When I had to drive for 8hrs to get home from university, this is how I entertained myself. Waving in and out of traffic like a pro or driving fast effortlessly through bends is also fun. But now, I steer clear of fast drivers, it’s not worth the risk.

Re: Speed

I used to . Then, I stopped, coz , I saw what a crash can do when I was called by the Hospital staff to identify the dead body of my best friend who had no family in the country . Since then , I dont only drive responsibly for my own sake , but for the sake of others too .

We realize in the end that no matter how good we think we are at controlling a vehicle at speed , we really dont know how we might react in the nick of the moment when an error occurs either at your end or the other end .

Re: Speed

only on cycle. Specially when going uphill.
on car NO.. cars no matter how cute they look.. they are kill machines. Have to be careful with them.

Re: Speed

hmmm nice car, will it be turbo-charged?? will love to see it… best of luck..

Wahhh jee wahhh Saeed bhai, what do you think about 2012 model Honda civic 1.8L ?? and also say something about new Honda civic 1.5 turbo-charged.. thank you…

Oye Hoye!! ballay ballay jee, I am shocked :hehe:

haha, well said :biggthumb:

I am sorry about that..

lol :hehe:

Bhai what about an empty straight road??

Re: Speed

Speed kills
Coming down the mountain
Speed kills
Coming down the street
Speed kills
With the presence of mind and
Speed kills
If you know what I mean

Re: Speed

Haven’t driven either of those. That said, I’m sure they’d be fun down a twisty road. Heck, any car can be fun down a twisty road. There’s this park close to my place. It has a 3 mile loop with some good twists and bends. I took my corolla down there and had a blast. That said, I’m not gonna do that gain over there because the park has a 20mph speed limit. It’s a park not a racing circuit :frowning:

Re: Speed

sorry to know that, do you go for rally or do friendly racing with friends ??

Re: Speed

Eh not really. Like I said I used to, not anymore. I had a few close calls and that’s when I realized that racing is stupid. Unless you do it on a race car track, don’t put yourself and others on risk like that. The adrenaline rush in the beginning was addictive especially for me who lived a pretty sheltered life. lol, it was halal fun.

Re: Speed

Nope. No, I don’t. Racing circuits can be kinda expensive. I think I wanna get into biking once I get done with college (living at someone else’s, not enough space here to store my gear, the place isn’t bike friendly either). Hopefully, move to a place where the terrain isn’t flat. Besides, bicycles are an environmentally responsible way of having fun.

Re: Speed

True that. I was just messing with ya. Public roads are no place to race. Too much can stuff that can go wrong. Is it halal if you’re breaking the law :smokin: Feel you on the bit about adrenaline rush. The most memorable of my adrenaline rushes are both car related. The first one is from Pakistan when a drove my friends tricked out charade. The second one is when I test drove the gt86. Hadn’t driven stick in over 3 years. Hadn’t driven something so low since the charade. My left leg was trembling 10 mins in.
