Speed ka bachha announced ICC wants to look into forensic tests for the ball to discover if it was tampered with.
This racist b***d needs to be committed somewhere…
OK so he is going to split the hair under an electron microscope and tell you who it beloged to …right…
does forensic evidence even exist for cases similar to this in the past?..what are the forensic analysts going to compare their finding with ?..
ganja tinds of racist umpires scratched with their nails…
mind boggling…

ICC acting ridiculous
This pathetic clueless organisation is acting like a bunch of jokers. Now they want to conduct forensic tests on the ball used at the Oval. Such tests if conducted on the brains of Speed and other Old farts at the ICC would perhaps be more in order. It does seem to be a bit over the top, especially when it appears there doesn't seem to be a case to answer. As I can see it they are going to any lengths just in the hope of acquitting Darrel Hair.
This is taking the issue beyond ridiculous. Where will it stop? Nail scrapings of each fielder after each session when they come off the field?
I am in favour of scrapping ball tampering laws. By that I mean a bowler should be allowed to clean dirt from the ball and pick at the seam to enable the ball to swing as long as he is not deliberately scratching the ball with long nails. Ofcourse any artificial means incl. use of bottle tops and razor blades etc. and carying mud in your pocket etc. should be punished.
When it was possible to push Shane Warne and Mark Waugh's bribery scandal under the carpet so quickly inspite of proof...how come these Australians (Speed) are taking so long over something they have no evidence on.
Although the ICC rules & laws of cricket DO NOT require an umpire to see someone tampering with the ball before laying the charge and penalising a team but clearly an umpire's mere suspicion does not prove tampering or guilt either. The laws as they stand are open to subjective and prejudicial interpretation and I dare suggest abuse by the on-field umpires
If Hair can't prove at the hearing that tampering actually occurred then he has to go and the forfeit charges against Inzamam should be dropped and the match result be declared null and void because Inzi's actions were in direct response to the initial charge of ball-tampering. This is just commonsense.
The incident shows that you need more than just an umpire's word when you cite a team for cheating, which is what the umpires Hair and Doctrove practically did. Clearly, better systems need to be in place, including the right of appeal.
Also, the umpire should not be allowed the right to decide when a match is forfeited. That right should rest with the match referee
I can assure you all that Mr. Madugalle's relative will be in good health as soon as the ODI series is finished and the £5m secured by the ECB :)
Re: ICC acting ridiculous
Forensic tests? Unless they find a chunk of nail in it, it's pretty useless.
Re: ICC acting ridiculous
Yes I agree it's pretty useless and quite unnecessary. This is another hype by ICC. How can any materials expert be 100% sure that the marks on the ball in question were more likely a consequence of tampering or natural wear and tear.
Re: Speed wants forensic tests of ball
I’ll wait till the clip airs on Court TV on dish network
