If you need to hire a construction worker, and there are two applicants. One has 10 years experience the other is a teenage quadriplegic with an IQ of 55, whom are you going to hire? The experienced one! Is that discrimination? You bet! Is that prejudice? Not at all. It is discrimination, based on relevant data. A person with no functional limbs cannot do that job. It doesn't make him a bad person, it just means he can't do the job. A person with an IQ of 55 and no experience won't do as good a job as a person with normal
intelligence and 10 years experience. It is that simple. You make a rational judgment based on relevant data.

Usually people with authority do that. Unfortunately, in political situation prejudice creeps in.

Emotion should always be part of major decisions. Its minor decsions that can give good results with just logic

this is the deal folks, if you are the poster who has post # ending in a zero, i.e. 80, u call the topic :) even if ppl are upto post # 83 by then, just go and edit post #80 and note the new topic..the quicker u call a topic the more posts will be on that topic :)

This is GS version of short attention span theater :) if ppl want to discuss any topic here in more detail, they can start a thread in teh appropriate folder e.g. sports, politics and take it further.

we will help the less creative ppl of some other forums tis way too. its a season of giving u know :)
