speed discussion

Re: speed discussion

sure. but where would you draw the line for the provinces? and would more provinces mean more control over the fundamentalism?

Re: speed discussion

No. just give the provinces (4) more powers and moola

Re: speed discussion

No more provices mean Local govt works more closely with real issues of real people and deal less with yellow politics

Re: speed discussion

or kitnay totay kerain gay hum loog :smack:

we already alag (sindhi, phujabi, balochi, pathan, urdu speakerz), solid boundaries might gonna bring us together!

Re: speed discussion

will the provinces be drawn along ethnic lines then?

Re: speed discussion

since when did urdu speakers get their own province?

Re: speed discussion

Provinces should have ethinic dvision.

That is the only logical division

Saraa'ekii, Makraani, Hindko, Urban sindh,

WHat is wrong with that

Re: speed discussion

how about geographically instead....invest likewise...tourism/industrial/etc..

Re: speed discussion

do you think if the lines are drawn around ethnic divisions, then say people who aren't of that ethnicity in the new province be discriminated against? maybe not =/

Re: speed discussion

it's possible...with the paki mentality :(
and a fear too...

Re: speed discussion

they want karachi to be seperated :hinna:

well some do! every one wants there own daid eent ke masjid :hinna:

Topic: discrimination makes u stronger, true or false

Re: speed discussion

That will give unfair advantage to some provinces

In India, 90% of the division is based on ethinicty/culture and what not. That brings healthy comepetition amongst states/provinces.

Re: speed discussion

It makes the discrimanator weaker

and discriminatee stronger

:)

Re: speed discussion

if discriminated the right way...can produce good results to the victim. with the mindset of self-improvement

Re: speed discussion

Pakistan's initial Problem is not Provinces. Yes, more provinces means more ease in administrative works at the local body level.

Ironic part is that Pakistan was made in the name of religion and divided in the name of language and further faces the red tape mentality on lingual grounds... :)

The paradox on top of this is, that there is an emerging minority of people who do not even consider the creation of Pakistan as being logical. They curse our national heroes like Iqbal by labelling them as Drunk-man philosopher.

The problem of Pakistan is the mentality in our nation. Most argue that it's the lack of education. But I see no difference in the thought process of educated and non-educated at many levels. If our education system conflicts with our religious beliefs, then, such an education is a curse on the nation.

It is high time that sane people in Pakistan start to work for the supremecy of Justice system. Once, Justice system comes as the ultimate power, the democratic process will get strengthen. One the democratic process brings honest people in the assemblies checked by the Justice system then, education, health and privision will follow.

Pakistan needs to be welfare state to progress.. Otherwise, we will always end up with Nokar Shaahi LuTeray and Afsar Shaahi chamchaY as our leaders and as our care takers in ALL walks of life.

MeraY solah aanaY :)

Re: speed discussion

yeh solah nahi aik rupia hai… summary to likh dain :hinna:

Re: speed discussion

Sometimes discrimination is confused with prejudice. Prejudice means to pre-judge without relevant fact. Discrimination means to make a judgement- without reference to time. So discrimination may be useful. Prejudice, bad.

Re: speed discussion

sometimes we think we're being discriminated when we're not.

Re: speed discussion

niksik- ya Prejudice is hurtful, where as at the same time instead of seeking determination i feel my self :frusty:

Re: speed discussion

So what if people with authority are the discrminators

Now I am just being a devils advocate here
