whats it about? has anyone taken part? has anyone actually found anyone in that way…

they are thinking of doing something similar…but in an islamic way…and I wanted peoples opinions on it.

I mean the guy and girl get a chance to talk/see each other …and then they later on see the profiles (without names)…and choose the one they like. and then meet the person to see if they like them after meeting them. The girls mahram will also be with her.

apparently its an aunty type lady who wants to organise this…and needs our help with it.

would you ever take part?

I've heard of it, but a bit reluctant...I hear the people that go to these things are of the older variety.

thats not true…they have different types for different age groups etc.

I know in the UK there have been separate ones for sikhs, hindus, Muslims, Pakistanis etc. etc.

so theres many different types/categories :slight_smile:

No offense, but I think it’s pretty corny. Like if someone asked how you and your husband met…“oh yea we met through the islamic speed dating program” :fraudia: lol
