What do u guys think about the speeches given to the UN by the Iranian and Venzuelvan presidents? Also what about Karzai and Musharraf Did you find anything worthwhile in their speeches?

Basically Chavez acted like a total buffoon

And Ahmedinijad acted like a person who doesnt know anything

I think they might but only if we get the message across

That muslims are not violent, jew hating, uneducated bigots but are tolerant, peace loving people who have contributed greatly to the western societies.

But unfortunately, that gets drowned out by the typical violent reactions to the most trivial of matters such as the danish cartoons or the pope.

Dude.. Although Ahmadinahad and his Venzualan counter part lack any basic diplomatic skills, atleast they are honest… I for one loved their tirade. And since when does being tolerant have anything to do with liking or disliking Bush?

I am a republican in a sense of the new American Republic Republican like Senators Chuck Hagel or Pat Buchanan, who are conservative in their values and also want to dis-engage ourselves from the middle east and that we stop meddling in other people's affiars. but also strict on immigration, against abortion, etc..

FYI, Islam means submission to Allah, and a Muslim is the one submits to Allah, that being said, Quran instructs Muslims to fight against those who fight us.

How can you then prove that Muslims are not violent? Or are tolerant?

Quran also tells us about the Jews, I don’t want to go in-depth, I hope you get the picture.

If Muslims can never be all that, what you think they should be, why do you want yourself to be called a Muslim?
