All right friends, this I think is going to be a tough one for you all to find. A few days ago I was in Seattle and I went to an Indian restaurant ‘Chutney’ with my friend and there I instantly fell in love with these songs which were playing there. And as is my habit, whenever I listen to some unknown song which I like, I straight away went to the owner and asked him about the album. The owner was very friendly and he told me that this was an self-assorted album of turkish songs and he promised me to copy and ship the cd over to me in LA. I guess he has forgotten about it now, and I desperately want to get these songs.
All I know about the song is this:
The songs I believe belonged to the fusion genre. They were very catchy, moving and melodious (not like ghazals, but more like soft rock); at some places the songs were very desi music like, with violin or sitar playing. I guess I there was some tabla too. One of the songs had female voice. Now does anyone have any clue about what album/artist I am talking about??? I do not want to start listening to each and every turkish song; well I’ll, if some one does not help me with finding these songs or even the artist.
And the award will be, either I can send you a cd of my favourite songs (rock/desi/whatever) or a dvd of one of my fav movies or I can buy you a music cd from Amazon or I can just say thanks from the bottom of my heart ;).
PS: I wanted to use the Shazaam MusicID software installed on my Samsung BlackJack cell phone but for some reason the site did not allow me to register :(.

*This description of the music being played is not enough to find this CD. This could fit for any old fusion music, bhangra, arabic, turkish or bollywood.
You should have asked him the name of the CD, better yet call the owner and ask him to FAX you the CD cover with names of songs+artists and post that here.
W/o names of the artists or song titles, you are just shooting in the dark.
