By ‘special’ I mean embarrassing.
Last week I forgot how old I was. For a good 5 minutes I just couldnt remember. Completely freaked out and for some bizarre reason could not even remember the year in which I was born to work it out. Was very tempted to call my dad only to realise he would’nt have known anyway.
It hurt.

For some reason, this brings to mind a "special moment" i had when I brought my love, my intended husband to meet my parents. They made a lovely barbeque.
While we were out enjoying the bbq and waiting for it to be readym I proudly announced that my intended quit smoking a week ago, he went to his doc and got "VIAGRA" (I confused it with that other medicine that helps smokers).
Their jaws dropped, they looked at me like "what the HECK man?!@!!!"
i JUST wanted the floor to open up and swalow me.

Nuh uh! That was pure joy at the extent of how fabulously you modelled what type of replies I was looking for. Goodness me! Why cant you take a compliment superman? Having special issues as well as moments are we?
How can a special moment be embarrassing ? 
Did you mean embarrassment on a special occasion more in line with story told by Mof3 above ?

I was in a 5th grade classroom giving a math lesson, it was almost 2:30ish. We were doing fractions, I taught my students the lesson and then gave them a problem to solve. When we were done, on the overhead I showed them my answer with the solution and guess what my answer was wrong, it turns out I made a mistake finding the common denominator but that wasn’t the worst part, worst part was when I went completely blank and I was like what did I do wrong…lol…after couple mintues of embarrassment my students showed where I was wrong 
It was sort of special too because I used it as a teaching moment

Lusi.. thats cute.. I had couple of those moments at Sunday school at masjid.. kids are smart, they pick up mistakes fast and dun let go of it!!! :-(

Lolz some time i also forget my name heheheh and for some reason i dont seem to remeber date, whenever i have to find out what date it is today i either have to look up in my phone or ask someone, embarrassing! But what can i do? Not good at remebering things.......
