I know in pakistan it is usually Biryani after Jummah prayer.

Do u make one or its usually daal chawal or sabzi.

Our Weekend is Saturday , I do try to do something different .. but then I just ask hubby what he feels like eating and make that ... we dont have a specific every weekend dish ...

Friday fun family night and Saturday dine out.:)

Usually I make Grill chicken, chops, savor pulao kabab style, steaks, chinese food. Something that family like.

Friday is normally 'Do not plan' day.

We start thinking around 6 what to do i.e to either eat leftover or make some quick thing (bbq, etc) or go out. kids go to play soccer league on Sat morning so Friday night is not really that sort of weekend as they have to sleep early.

chicken pulao or beef pulao or chicken biryani....

When we were kids, my mom would make pulao, raita, and cucumber tomato salad. She made the most delish pulao. We are not big on biryani.

yeah friday is a weekend here so i do make something special / different :)

Ever since I was a kid, Friday is fish day. So whether that's fish and chips or whole baked salmon with sauteed baby potatoes and a lemon butter sauce or fish pie... fish has to be involved!

Whatever my wife makes is special :wub: so a new special dish every day.
I tell everyone hamary ghar main roz dawat ka khana paktay hay so you are more than welcome to come over any day any time.
