speaking ur mind = rude??

y is it that in our culture speaking ur mind or lets say telling wat u think is rudness??

y is it that young ppl or kids r always shushed when they try to disagree or say what they think about certain things. its not that elders r alwys right.

for example if i dont agree with my parents and i try to reason with them in a very civilized way but i dont agree wiht them even after all that reasoning so they label me as rude or rebillious.

P.S: ^ its jst an example my parents r kool they listen most fo the time. its jst my observation.

Re: speaking ur mind = rude??

Speaking out one's mind, is perhaps the most difficult skill to acquire. I mean, it not difficult to speak out what u think is right...and stick to it...but the manner in which u deliver it...is an essential technique. So weather it's right or negative or an argument...u have to be very effective in conveying ur message...especially when it's a total opposite.

Re: speaking ur mind = rude??

just shut it:D:

joke aside i so agree with you.

yes i totally agree. but my question is that when the other person is talking in a very civilized way cuz mostly i dont see kids beign rude to their parents or elders but still they r considered rude jst because they dont agree with them!

wats that about?

Re: speaking ur mind = rude??

kidz aren't usually rude but may be a bit 'head in the air' people.

U see, that's exactly what i am talking about... The skill is quite difficult to acquire.

Man people also need training to bear ugly truths.

Re: speaking ur mind = rude??

I think being straight up is a good habit but has done alot of damage to me. So now i tend to stay quiet rather than speakin my mind.

^ tell me aBout It!..sometimes that Damage Is UnReversiBle..:(

That’s one up right there
