speaking of na'ats

there is a TV channel which shows na’ats almost all the time… and the intensity increased in the Ramadan. now there is this guy on it who is almost always there…awais Raza Qadri or something. it is like his biusiness or something. he has his whole family involved. he has his little son too, who, i have heard, charges 80.000 rupees for a single night of naats.
god i hate the guy. using Islam’s name for his benefit.

Re: speaking of na'ats

not 80,000 Bhai ordinary Naat Khawans earn in 6 figures, he earns comparable to any pop star, in the middle six figure range for a night.

I think this is also a business just like music & no more bad or good than it. Its only that people like Rauf Roofi and Awais Qadree had good business acumen to grab the market. Muzaffar Warsee could never earn that much despite he was a much bigger Naat Khawan & Hamad Go.

As i said earlier Islam is no one's copyright, so as long as people are willing to pay him in the name of Islam he is not violating any copy right and only Allah knows the truth.
