The UN would dispalce Saddam how exactly? The UN is powerless. It has done nothing in kashmir. And whatever little it has done is with the pwoer of the US forces. Don't get me wrong, UN does good things for charity, but when it comes to making peace between warring people, or removing a brutal dicatator from power, it has to rely on the US alone. Did you know 22% of the UN's budget comes from the US, not to mention all of the military support and transportation? The only way to remove saddam is through military force. I just hope, the liberals and arabs would have shut up during Gulf war I and the coalition could have removed him in 1991.
And do you really think one can have a truce with isalmists? Islamists believe in killing anyone who disagrees with them. You can never ever have epace with such people. You can only kill these kind of people to achieve peace. This is true in pakistan. It is true in Israel, and it is true around the world. Do you think shias in pakistan can have a truce with terrorists? If you think so, then you have no idea how these people are. So this is appeasment, and it will not work.

UN coalition forces are operating in many countries where there is unstability. Here in the case of Iraq, no solid evidence was presented and no effort was made to form a broad coalition. I guess it was not formed as other countries could see through the lies of the Bush administration.
But getting to the main point, taking back your forces from a country that you have occupied is not appeasement, to the people of the country, in any language. Why even now is the UN not invited to take over the administrative affairs of the country. It just goes to show that the US wants to install a puppet government. No self respecting government would be part of this sham exercise.

Sick, just sick. And it's not some far away land this happened in, but in spain. This is the islamist way of dealing with dead bodies as iraq has told us recently.
More proof that Islamism is completely against and an enemy of Islam. How much proof does one need before muslims will open their eyes to the evil around them?

**Poland planning pull-out of troops from Iraq
**
Poland is planning to withdraw its troops from Iraq in the coming months, dealing another blow to the US-led coalition forces there.
The revelation yesterday by a senior government adviser that Poland’s 2,500 soldiers would leave Iraq comes just a day after the new Spanish Prime Minister, Mr José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, announced the pull-out of Spanish troops “as soon as possible”.
:hehe:
Not many rats left on the sinking ship that is the American War machine boys!

UN failed to stop the rawanda genocie, the bosnia massacre, the kashmir conflict, and did not have the power to remove saddam. Saddam was removed to show the arabs, that america is a superpower and any other leader who is openly anti-american will also end up in a hole in the ground, dead or alive. If you promote anti-americanism, be preapared for the consequences.

What 100's of muslim graves are you talking about? Never heard of that. And you should be greatful non muslims are allowing muslims to live in theri countries, considering how we treat non muslims in our lands.
Hey smartass.. who castrated the UN in each one of those cases??
You can’t say the UN failed as if it’s someone else’s fault.. the UN is a team sport.
Be prepared to be negotiated with!!

Poland will be thrown out of “New” Europe now.
Add Thailand to the list… This list of mighty allies is getting mightier… You remember when some major countries like Russia/France/India/Pak gave middle finger to yanks, yanks were gloating about these piss poor states as mighty allies. LOL…

US braces for possible withdrawal of Thai troops from Iraq
The United States is bracing for a possible decision by Thailand to withdraw its troops from Iraq due to the deteriorating security situation.
The US State Department says Thai Foreign Minister, Surakiart Sathirathai, has informed US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, of Bangkok’s position that its more than 400 troops in Iraq will have to be pulled out if the situation becomes too dangerous.
Spokesman Richard Boucher declined to comment further on the matter, except to say that no matter what Thailand decides to do, the US “appreciates Thailand’s contribution and the important role that they have played there.”
The AFP news agency has quoted a senior State Department official as saying that of all the world leaders and foreign ministers that Mr Powell had called since Monday, only the Thais appear to be wavering on keeping their troops in Iraq.
Thailand joined the coalition, sending the contingent of engineers, medics and a surveillance platoon, who are part of a multinational force under Polish command, after remaining neutral during the invasion of Iraq.
Spain may very well prove to be the catalyst for disintegration of this stupid so-called "coalition". They were made fool of, mis-led and told they will be treated as saviors. Worst part (for US) is that now they all know nothing is true. They are being attacked and kidnapped and killed by local Iraqis. Why would any country want to be part of this senseless war?
Interesting who you include as ‘major countries’, but call Thailand piss poor. ![]()
While it may give stiffies to America-haters to post these announced pull outs, it is bad news for the Iraqi people. Countries like Thailand, who were neutral in the war, made sacrifices to supply medics and engineers for the betterment of Iraq. But because some thugs killing and kidnapping anyone in their way, they are forced to pull out.

Who cares what they think? They hate the U.S. and it’s blatant that they support whatever hurts the U.S. even if 'brothers' get slaughtered or raped in the process.
I could go for some Spanish rice right about now.

Yes I do, especially those who braved American fire, that has killed some 11,000 Iraqi people so far during the last year, and that continues to maim and injure many thousands of others.
Seminole,
If you love some people, you don't invade their country, kill thousands of their civilians and destroy their homes and call yourself "liberator". You "help" countries, by first considering them as soveriegn nation and then providing them medics, engineers and all that in a respectful and right manner. At this point, US is merely the pimp and these poor buggers (Thailand, Spain, Poland and Honduras) were just working as paid hookers .... and good for them, they have enough of it.
