Everything is great about Barcelona, but I would say the Mediterranean Sea, the beaches! I love the beach :) .

The best area is Pedralbes without doubt but I wont tell you prices there 
I like Ciutat Vella very much a two bed apartment can cost you here 275,000 or 300,000 Euros Aprox.

I want to get an apartment in Spain...which I can rent out and use myself for a month every year, and I want to be close to an international airport. But Barcelona will be too expensive for me for a second home.
What do you think about Alicante or Malaga?

Alicante is cheaper, but I would go for Malaga without doubt (expensive too :hinna: ).
