hi…does everyone know about soya oil? is it good for health or not…?i know this that corn, sunflower and canola oil r good for health…and coconut oil and palm oil, ghee etc r not better for our health…so in which category does this soya oil fall?
Re: Soya oil?
Soya oil (or soybean oil) is in the good category for the most part. It comes from a vegetable source which is healthier than animal fat. it’s a good source for vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids.
The only bad part is it’s not very “nutritious” when you use it to deep fry at very high temperatures because at high temperatures, soya oil has a high trans fat content.
But other than that, it’s good to use to saute or light frying.
