My husband was watching some cooking show on tv and said the lady was making a keema salin using soy. Now he wants me to give it a whirl.
The grocery store I go to only has the big chunk of tofu and I’m not sure if this is the same as soy, since I wasn’t with him while he watching the show.
Has anyone used soy to make a keema salin? Any recipes/tips and brand names for the soy?
Re: soy for use as keema
I guess you mean soya mince… it is similar but not the same.
I don’t think you would be able to mince tofu yourself anyway.

^ ok thanks, that looks like something I could probably find. i was checking the fridge section at the grocery store, perhaps it's kept in the organic section.

You can also coarse grind soya nuggets/chunks and then soak them in water for an hour or so to get soya mince.
