South of England

hey Southerners…

need your advice on a trip i am planning…

me and a friend are thinking of visiting the following places in july:-

  1. dover/canterbury/ kent

  2. buckinghamshire

  3. brighton/southampton

  4. salisbury and stonehenge

  5. devon/cornwall

what are good sites to see here?

  1. historical grounds

  2. cultural

  3. architectural

  4. beautiful areas

  5. nature reserves

  6. any good cheap places to stay in these regions too?

In Kent:

Dover Castle.
White Cliffs of Dover.
Canterbury Cathedral.
Rochester Castle and Cathedral.

Devon/Cornwall - You have to go to the EDEN PROJECT it's amazing. Also, go to Torquay, Exeter and Paignton. With regards to staying somewhere - are you looking for a hotel? I ask because it's really nice to hire a cottage in these areas and explore by car.
